Dr. Peterkin is a general surgeon with special interests and experience in breast surgery, colorectal surgery, pancreatic surgery, hernia surgery, and a full range of laparoscopic surgery including laparoscopic banding.

After graduating from the University of California at Berkeley in 1980, Dr. Peterkin went on to Baylor College of Medicine where he achieved his medical degree in 1984. He then served a residency and research fellowship at Boston, MA which he completed in 1991.

Dr. Peterkin is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.  In his spare time he enjoys time with his family, woking, and croquet.
