Dr. Bannan is a board certified Internal Medicine physician with special interests in diabetes and hypertension. She joined Hillcroft Medical Clinic in 1980 and speaks Spanish fluently.

After attaining her B.S. in pharmacy from the University of Texas in Austin, Texas Dr. Bannan achieved her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 1976. She served residencies at both Wayne State Medical School in Detroit, Michigan and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 1979. Dr. Bannan completed a one year clinical fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio.

Dr. Bannan is a member of the American Medical Association and the Harris County Medical Society and in her spare time enjoys gardening, cooking, and traveling.
